Victoria Dunlap added 15 points and eight rebounds for Kentucky (26-7), while Keyla Snowden also contributed 15 points.

Devon Brown netted 24 points for Liberty (27-6), while Avery Warley posted a double-double of 17 points and 14 rebounds in the loss. Kylee Beecher tallied 16 points, while Jelena Antic chipped in 10 points.

The Flames took a slim, 35-33 lead in the break after shooting 46.9 percent from the field over the first 20 minutes of action.

However, the Wildcats poured it on in the second stanza, as the team shot a staggering 72.2 percent from the floor, en route to the six-point win.

Kentucky finished 26-of-36 from the foul line, while Liberty connected on 11- of-16 attempts from the charity stripe.

The Wildcats will now battle the fifth-seeded Michigan State Spartans in the Second Round.
